It doesn’t get much better than this. What the beaver is snacking upon is Buckthorn which is an invasive species in our New England woods. I’ve never seen signs of anything eating it, other than the birds eating the berries. Buckthorn grows under the forest canopy and disrupts the natural vegetation.  It is just difficult to eradicate.
But this isn’t a post about buckthorn, it’s about the beaver!
