A bird in the bush.

It is spring at last. Here are some folks that are making their way back north for the breeding season. Starting from the top left is the sparrow with my favorite song, the White-throated Sparrow. Moving clockwise, deep in the thicket, that wild and crazy Blue-gray Gnatcatcher.

You’ll see them when they arrive as the warble sweet nothings to each other only do hide in the bushes during nesting season. Cat-calling from a thicket near you…the Gray Catbird.

Finally, making a special appearance in Dogtown and soon to be featured on ShootingMyUniverse, the Brown Thrasher.
