Forgotten Photo Friday, New London Ledge Light

Phew, Friday at last! Let me tell you, it’s been a week! We are crazy-busy at work, which is good. But Friday means going deep into the archives and dredging up the past.

About two years ago, Becky and I took a trip down to Long Island, taking the ferry out of Groton, Connecticut. Along the way, we passed the New London Ledge Light. Ain’t it a beauty? ©2011 Steve Borichevsky

It's gorgeous!!! That sort of lighthouse would never be built today. What class, what sense of history, what glorious colors. That's the place to be a lighthouse keeper!
