Splish-splash, I was taking a bath.

There is something about bathing when it comes to birds. Once one starts, they all join in, sometimes in mixed flocks. These Common Eiders are enjoying a Sunday morning bath.

Exquisite! The bath or the pictures! Wait, both I guess.... You got them very well. Any signs of kind eiders in your area... We are now having like four of them in the South... i guess I might have to travel to get pictures ;-)

Hi Chris, We have one King Eider that has been hanging around Gloucester for a couple of years. Search my blog for "King"!
