Savanna Sparrow

This little guy was outrageous. On our meet up on Plum Island, this little guy was sitting in the top of a two foot high shrub, just singing his little heart out. We were shooting him from 8 feet away. He just didn’t care. dAwN has a video clip of him as well as the RWB from Wednesday.

Walking around a bit, I was able to get several different shots with different backgrounds. Here are four.

These are beyond amazing. Wow. I'm speechless. Some of the most gorgeous and photographically perfect bird photos I've ever seen. What a treat to get to see them. Thank you.

Hi Steve,
This is a bird that I did not know and I loved to discover it with such nice shots... I love the two last one for the attitudes!! But the bokeh is just perfect on all of them and the light too. Marvelous!

Wow! Steve...these shots are incredible! I love little Savannah Sparrows. I really only know one place to find them in Cincy, and I've never been able to get close enough for a decent photo. Beautiful....
