Your Gloucester is a very beautiful town! Love the harbour, the colors - and the sea! Love the first shot, charming scenery with those great sail boats!

The story you asked for; I added the location after I saw your question; Near by Ålesund on the west coast of Norway! My family moved when I was a child, but the place will always be my "home", and a place I visit as often as possible! :)

...love the red, white and blue combos in the second and third photos. They definitely have taken on a different feel from the earlier spring/late winter photos.

I have always tended to think of Gloucester Harbor as being very industrial. Maybe industrial isn't the right word, commercial might be more appropriate.
But you have been able to show me a whole other side to it.
