Forgotten Photo Friday, I've been holding out on you.

Speaking of Forgotten Photo, guess what I forgot last Friday? I forgot Forgotten Photo Friday last week. In order to make up for this, I’m pulling up one of the bird species that I took in the Big Morongo Canyon Reserve in Morongo, California last March.

I give to you the Vermilion Flycatcher.

What a little beauty it is! Your shots are always amazing. I'd love to see something this colorful when I'm out. When that day comes I wonder if I'll be able to capture it.
:-)

I wish I knew your secrets Steve. (-: I'm guessing this level of great photography is due to lots of hard work over many years, plus a very very good eye!

What a gorgeous bird! He is like a red traffic light in color, and so cute! I don't think there is so many colorful birds in Norway - but I am surely no expert! I only love watching and listening to them!

I have som birds on my blog no....but they are so big even I could catch them with my camera! :)

Hi Valkyrien, I saw your bird!
Hi Island Rambles Blog, I'm glad you spend some of your time here.
Hi Jenny, I'm just a guy that walks around with a camera. No feeders, blinds, big fancy lenses...just 30 years of pushing a button.
Hi 2Sweetandsaxy, You have so many beautiful birds right there in California. I used to do a lot of shooting there 20 years ago. I hope that someday you find your special red bird.
Hi Craig, I think the same thing when I visit other's blogs. You've been posting some cools stuff lately.
Hey thanks, MaineBirder.
Hi Kristi, this is not a MEME, it's just way of me to post photos that are no longer current so they get forgotten because I have my attention on newer stuff. I just do it on Fridays.
Hi JPT from Wales!
Hi Butteryum, Eve and Kerri! I'm glad you found some joy here today.
Hi Roy, yup, right up there with our Scarlet Taneger!
Joan, I'm sorry I let you down last week, Please, please forgive me?
