Three Random Shots

I’m still posting photos from Palm Springs. When I said that the desert is full of life, I meant it. Here are three shots.

I love that little lizard...and what little animal is that (I don't really know...I know I should, but I don't).

How easily that grasshopper blends into its surrounding Steve. I love the lizard and judging from the chipmonks (?) tail, he is getting ready to take off. LOL!! A wonderful post to show life in the desert.

Hi T and S, This is a fun bokeh shot. I'm impressed with how the lizard has elements of the granite rock and the blurred out blues and browns in the background.

Hi Mocha, Thank you. I hope that I continue to live up to your expectations.

Hi Ginnymo, Kelly and Joan, It's appears to be a Whitetail Antelope Squirrel. This is the first time I've seen this critter.

Excellent set Steve,
And yes when we open the eye, even the most strange habitat contains life. Cool!

Lots of critters for sure Steve!

Superb images - I love the cricket!

As always, excellent images. The grasshopper is most likely Trimerotropis pallidipennis, the pallid-winged grasshopper. They're having something of a population explosion this year, at least in Arizona.
