Steve, are you using a dedicated macro lens or just 'close up' on one of your 2 zoom lenses?

Hi Frank, I do not have a true macro lens. I'm zoomed in at 300mm and as close as the lens will allow, which is about 60 inches. The photo has been cropped to 76% of its original size.

Super photos, amazing detail. The insect in the lowest photo is a type of clerid (or checkered) beetle. It's Trichodes ornatus.
