Anna's Hummingbird

This Anna's Hummingbird was taken back in Palm Springs last March. She was feeding her chicks and then sat on the nest. This hummingbird is about the size of your thumb.

How lovely to find a nest Steve. The humming birds always seem to build such small ones, or at least, so it seems to me.
