New MEME, Think Green Thursday

Fellow Massachusetts blogger, Pagan Sphinx, has created a new MEME. The concept is Think Green Thursday. In support of her effort, this is my humble submission. This is a few of the wind turbines just north of Palm Springs.

I do hope the next several years bring about great change in our country as far as conservation, recycling, and environmental issues as a whole.

Good first post for Think Green Thursday.

This is exactly what I had in mind. Great post.

I just received an email from a cousin in Portugal. Included was a video clip of a story that NBC did on Portugal's exploration into wind and water energy. Very interesting that those old explorers are going forward with this into the future. Very cool! Since I'm visiting there this summer, I will be looking for a lot of evidence of this to photograph.

Thank you so much for participating. I'm honored that you want to be part of it. Your phtography is spectacular.

Hi DrowseyMonkey, This is just a small fraction of the wind turbines on this wind farm there are hundreds!

Hi Bobbie, I'm a big fan of wind energy. Solar too.

Howdy Pagan Sphinx, I hope that I live up to the challenge each week.

Hi Diane, My hope is that the environmentalist get their act together and stop obstructing such projects.

Hi Sharon, Maybe you are too young to remember when it was being a litterbug was the worst crime you could commit? Well, people still litter, but litter is still a problem. As a physics student in the 80’s, I learned about the effects of atmospheres on planets that trap heat. It ain’t pretty. If we don’t handle this, we are screwed.

Wonderful shot for Think Green Thursday! I hope we can develop more alternative energy resources. Have a great day, Steve :)
