Surely you are using a macro to get the bees so clearly. I do love the desert flora as well, especially the blues and purples.

Nice portraitures of the bees. I used to live in palm springs for a couple of years. I think the bottom photos are of the chia plant. Their seeds are actually very tastey, if its the plant that I think it is.
