You always seem to be in the correct place to photograph these Steve. Excellent capture again.

That's interesting. I posted a red breasted merganser today too. Merganser's being active from coast to coast.

Great shots! You did a magnificent job showing them in flight! Such clear pictures.

You know Steve...I just don't know how these just keep getting better...but they do!

Bravo!

Very beautiful. Love the patterns on both species' wings.

Fab photos as always Steve, and I love that you're showing them in pairs, which means spring is on the way for you too.....hopefully! (-:

Hi Steve,
I love these pictures... Flight pictures are so hard to get and so dynamice when we get them. Congrats, they are magnificent

You always make the difficult shots look so effortless!

Steve, I think you might have the Glaucester birds on your side, am I right? Super in flight shots. So nice to see their wings outstretched. Really, really impressive.

Hi All, I'm a little behind on my commenting. Sharon, no, they don't trust me any more that the other bipeds. Sometimes I get lucky.
Hi Mary, Thanks, I just have some luck.
Thanks Tabib, You are still the master!
Hi Roy, Kelly, Kim, I was just awestruck when I saw the patterns.
Chris is another great bird photographer worth seeing. If you haven't been over, take the time.
Hi Jenny, Spring is coming, I promise!
Hi Eve, I have to keep challenging myself. Good to hear from you again.
Hi Natural Moments, I have lots of Red-breasted, but I don't have common and hoodies on the harbor. :( I'll be over to see your mergansers in a few minutes. :)
Thanks Joan, I do try!

Very nice!! I don't seem to be fast enough to catch shots like this. By the time I aim and focu they're gone.
