Gloucester Harbor's Lights at Dusk

B and I were returning home and came upon this scene of Gloucester Harbor. The first is Tenpound Island with East Gloucester in the background. These photos were all taken from Western Boulevard looking south and the sun is setting to the west, on the left side of the photos.

Looking south, here are the benches on the rocks at Stage Fort Park. These benches look east to Tenpound Light and to Eastern Point Light.

Finally, looking south east is Eastern Point Light.

From your photos I can see that Gloucester is such a lovely area. The lighthouses are always so appealing but I would like to sit on one of those two benches and just stare out at the ocean. Now that's very appealing, but maybe when the weather gets a little warmer. Or maybe I shall just put on an extra pair of socks and take a hot water bottle along :)

So pretty Steve. How nice that you and B appreciate the beauty of a sunset and it's effects on the surroundings. I think the benches would be wonderful to sit on, on a warm July evening : )

Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised! I wasn’t sure how the benches would go over. I’ve used them many times. In the summertime, they are on my walking route. Soon, it will be warm and then I can get out to them more often.

I think I would spend hours on those benches at sunrise and setset. The lighthouse shots looks like a pano. Excellent shot.

Beautiful shots, Steve! Yes, those benches would be the perfect spot to take in the sunset on a warm night. I love the first photo, too -- really lovely. :)
