Herring Gulls in snow

I shot these birds by the Essex River as an experiment. I was shooting towards the sun.

Very nice Steve. Love the wings, and how the one on the right is watching the other two come in for a landing.

Have you seen the Ivory Gull yet? Guess there are two in the area now, is that right?

Shooting toward the sun seems to be the story of my life Steve!

Wow, you two are up early on a Saturday! I hadn't noticed it Sharon, but it does help with eye flow and focusing your attention onto the subject.

Hi Eve, At least with the price of digital film and processing, I'm willing to take the chance. In the film days, shooting slides, this would have been money down the drain.
