Great Blue Heron Silhouette

I just couldn’t resist taking this photo of a Great Blue Heron. It was take about 45 minutes after the sunrise. It was just hunkered down in the cold, most likely just chilling out until something tasty swam by.

Steve, that is an incredible picture! I love it. I thought the Herons were long gone, and I didn't know they hung out near the ocean. You must have known this would be a special one.

Perfection.

We've been having cold weather too. With the wind it really makes it tough to go outside, we finally had a windless morning this morning.

This sea weed is more slippery than crunchy. It was cold that morning. I'm glad you all stopped by to see this little experiment.
