Last Sunset of the Season and Crab at Low Tide

We decided to take a walk since it was the last night of the summer season. The tide was very low on the beach and we found this crab. It was about 4 inches across the shell. We didn't want to bring too much attention to it because the sea gulls would tear this little guy apart.

The sun was setting on the summer season. I'm still wondering where June went. Summer is very ephemeral in New England.
