Sand Dollar with a Crab and GoodMorningGloucester

Sand Dollar with a Crab (c)2008
We came across this unlikely pair on Crane Beach in Ipswich. At low tide you can find lots of sand dollars. With tiny brown spines covering its body, this one was still alive so we didn’t pick it up for a souvenir.

Good Morning Gloucester!

I got an email from Joey of GoodMorningGloucester, My View of Life on the Dock offering to do a link exchange. If you find enjoyment in visitin my blog or or if you did a search on Gloucester, Massachusetts and stumbled in here, they you will want to visit GoodMorningGloucester. Joey has lots of connections on the docks and really is a local and tells it like it is.

Gloucester is a unique place and Joey captures it all. You will meet fishermen, artist, merchants and local folks. A visit to his blog will take you to the pilot house of a ferry, the back of a restaurant, down the streets in the wee hours of the morning or out on a lobster boat. He is also a damn good photographer who knows how to shoot his universe.

Addendum: 7 Sept 08. I took some photos of Joey sorting lobsters.
