Daytrip to Paris

I stayed in the Saint Pancras hotel which is attached to the train station.

That’s 166 miles per hour for us Yanks.

Our photographer was lining up our group of 70 and these gentlemen were bullbaiting the tourist. I figured that they were feeling left out. So I grabbed this shot to make sure that they felt included.

I walked to a little restaurant with five friends and we walked by this statue of Voltaire.  Below are some snaps of the inside of Café Procope. Voltaire came here. So did  Benjamin Franklin, John Paul Jones and Thomas Jefferson. Once again I find myself where Ben Franklin sat.

Black-headed Gull. I’ve seen one in Colorado, yes and we had an expert birder from London spot it. And they make it to Massachusetts from time to time.

Every time I looked up, I saw the product of a sculptor.
