Misty Fjords National Monument

These images were taken on the 21st of April, 2018 when we took a charter boat into Misty Fjords National Monument. Living up to its name, it was misty and cool back in the fjords with a very light rain and some broken clouds. Nevertheless, it was stunning. I picked up two life birds back in the windy passages; Marbled Murrelet and Crackling Goose. We also saw Humpback whales, Harbor Seals, Harlequin Ducks, Common Mergansers, Bald Eagles and Glaucous-Winged Gulls.

Both spectacular and gorgeous come to mind as I view your photos. Must have been truly an incredible experience to see this in person.
