Mew Gull

This is a Mew Gull. It is very common around Ketchikan. When I arrived, I was pretty sure I had a life bird, but it was difficult to tell. These little gulls are rather active flyers, not like the lazy Herring Gulls around Gloucester.

On my last day in AK, I did find a couple that were hanging out and I was able to get some shots. The last two are younger Mew Gulls.
