Fox Sparrow

There were plenty of Fox Sparrows in Ketchikan, Alaska. On the mornings that didn’t start off with excessive rain, I went out early and did some wildlife photography before the day’s activities started.

They are some great shots Steve.
To me it looks like a cross between our Thrush and a Bunting.

Thanks for taking a look, gents.

I am going to have a really great thrush coming up in the next couple of days!

But yes, the Fox Sparrow is on the large, chunky side of the sparrows with those thrush colors.
