Mocha Emerald

I found this Mocha Emerald on the 16th of June. It was rather fresh at that time. Its eyes will be brilliant green when it matures.

Blue Dasher

One of our most common dragonflies during this time of year is the Blue Dasher. They are so common that I do not stop much for them any more. However when I have a chance to take a shot like this, I will.

Harlequin Darner and Seaside Dragonlets

I retuned home after an outing and saw this Harlequin Darner in the driveway. It inspired me to go out onto the salt marsh and shoot some Seaside Dragonlets. The Seaside Dragnonlets shown below are all females.
