Lancet Clubtail

Clearly, a matter of shoot first and ask questions later. I ran into a small gathering of these bugs on the north end of Babson Reservoir. Plus I have never seen this behavior in a dragon before. She would land, and then fold up her wings like a Jewelwing. It gave me that neurotic, “what the heck?” feeling, especially since these young ladies are freshly emerged. The colors were not quite ripe yet. But it’s all good.
