Eastern Amberwing

These are male Eastern Amberwings. They are the smallest dragons that I have photographed to date. These bugs are only one inch, or 24.5mm long. I shot them in Clearwater, FL but have seen them up in Massachusetts from time to time.

Nice shooting Steve, the last of the few now I guess with he autumn/fall coming.

Yes. The dragon season is winding down we have aht Autumn meadowhawk that will be with us well into November.

But there will be a few bugs down in Florida when I go down.
