Fish Crow

I suppose if you took a trip down to the south east coast of the United States, you may see this bird and just dismiss it as an American Crow. The fish crow is smaller overall and has a deep nasal double syllable call.

This is the first time I’ve actually been able to get an image of one. Like most corvids, they are fairly aware of who is pointing at them and will not hesitate to take off. I got off three rapid shots before this one fled the scene.
