White-breasted Nuthatches

If you go to the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, be sure to bring some sunflower seeds with you. I was visited by Black-capped Chickadees and a Tufted Titmouse. The White-breasted Nuthatches seemed interested, but wouldn’t come down.

In my experience Red-breasted Nuthatches come to the hand but White-breasted never.

all gorgeous shots but the 2nd to last shot where the Nuthatch looking directly into the camera is fabulous.
