Forgotten Photo Friday, two California dragons.

Whilst traveling in southern California last April, I was able to find a couple of dragons. The top one is a Flame Skimmer, a rather easy bug to ID.

I’m clueless as to what this lovely lady is. I shot her on the eastern shore of the Salton Sea.

Steve, I did some image searching on Google and the 2 yellow spots on the white bands on the thorax indicate that it could be a female Variegated Meadowhawk (Sympetrum corruptum).
