McDowell Sonoran Conservancy, Gateway Trailhead

Outside of Scottsdale, Arizona is the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy. On our last day, we took a drive over and went for a walk on the Gateway Trailhead. It is a great place to walk about in the Sonoran desert bush with ocotillo, cholla cactus, organ pipe and iron wood plants.

Happy to see more desert photos. Great catch on the Virden launch. Sorry but I can't help you ID the lizard but he's a beauty.
