What a colourful bird Steve and you took some great shots. We have a form of Quail, but not as colourful and very small and you just never see it as its so secretive.(Often heard but rarely seen)

I would say very fortunate, wow what a beautiful bird...Quails are all just way too cool~

Ah, they are nice I have about 2 dozen of these quail that roost in the trees outside my kitchen window. I listen to and watch them everyday.
