Steve these images and the junco did you use your 600? Can you tell me as I'm curious. Beautiful shots.

Hi Carol,
The Rock Wrens were shot with a D600 and 70-300mm Niccor.

The Dark-eyed Junco was shot with my D7100 and 300mm f/4 Niccor.

When I went to AZ, we were expecting a lot of rain. I wasn't sure if I would get any wildlife shooting done, so I packed my D600 and 24-80 kit lens. Then at the last minute I tossed the 70-300 in the suitcase.

I normally shoot with two bodies, one long one wide. What a pain! I was constantly swapping lenses.

At home I got back to my standard combinations. I use my D600 full frame for wide angle work, my D7100 crop sensor for wildlife work.
