The first frame of the year, the Great Salt Marsh at Ipswich

We became accustomed to having a blue sky while we were in warm, sunny Palm Springs. Back in Ipswich, we came home to cold temperatures. This the view from our deck at high tide yesterday.

It’s hard to believe that we are getting a Nor’easter today. It’s nasty out there.

What a gorgeous picture! I sure wish it was like that around here - it's -24 and grey.

It's hard to accept that it's the same place. The wooden post on the left is the only recogisable sign. The top photo is achingly beautiful.

Greetings from Provence and best wishes for 2014!
