American Robins

We were taught as children that Robins were harbingers of spring. Ain’t so. American Robins can be found here in Northern Massachusetts throughout winter. These were shot last Saturday right here in Essex County.

Thanks, folks. I always am happy to receive comments.

Unfortunately, Blogger Commenting does not allow the HTML tags necessary for putting photos into comments. Sad. I'd love to see your px.

Great shots of a colourful bird Steve. They are like our Thrush species rather than our Robin.

We see them only in January and early February and then they're gone.
