Turkeys in the rain

We have a small family of turkeys that frequent the yard. Today I have two adult females and two pullets for you. Everybody is wet because it is raining.

Hi Steve Oh dear! They are a bit miserable looking when wet.

Jealous! So cute, love the pics. I had a female come to my feeder, water set up for a month or so at 6 pm (on the dot!) and was so pumped for her to bring her turklets (as I like to call them), but she never did...

Oh wow, the baby turkeys are so cute. And I love the shot with turkey and the coneflowers. Very pretty.

Their expressions (if we can go that far with a turkey) are priceless! So miserable looking and the adults look like disapproving school teachers on the playground. Enjoyed your post a lot, Steve.

What great shots of a funny-looking favorite! I love it that they wander into your place.

What fun. We see them in our Oregon neighborhood too and they do take good care of their broods.

I've seen several broods recently, but they always run away before I can grab the camera.

we have a mom with 9 teenagers, they wander through the yard from time to time. so much fun to see them. also fun to see how they blend in to nature and nearly disappear.
