Om

I found the Great Blue Herron meditating in the early morning sun. Om. Om. Om.

Although our Great Blue Heron was one with the universe, he could not resist grabbing a Blue Dasher for a snack.

Be sure to visit Wild Bird Wednesday this week.

Hi Steve These are fantastic shots but I must have a weird sense of humour as I thought in the 1st shot he looked like he was 'flashing'!!

What's a GBH doing in Mountain Pose? Ha!

The last shot should be captioned, Om! Nom! Nom!

These are fantastic, as always, Steve! Thanks so much for sharing your amazing gifts with us!

My goodness! What a big deal to be able to see such closeups of this bird. The body may be in the "om" state but those eyes look to be on full alert!

Ah the many poses of yoga the bird can perform during his meditations . . .
