Short Sands Beach, York, Maine

I heard that there was an old ship hull exposed on Short Sands after the last big storm. I decided to go up at low tide to see if it was still exposed. A friend of mine that lives up in York said that it has been exposed twice in the last twelve years that he has lived there and that it gets reburied fairly quickly.

Oh well, it was a good opportunity to do some photography.

Sorry you missed it Steve. We were going to take a drive to York in hopes of seeing the hull as well, but never made it. I ended up viewing it online instead. Hope you had a nice visit! It looks cold!
