The lobster fishing is slowing down in Gloucester Harbor. There are a still a few fishermen that have pots set.

The pot is hauled out.

The old bait is pulled out and thrown overboard. The gulls are not fussy and wait for the scraps.

Any lobsters are measured. Keepers have their claws banded and stowed.

Undersized lobsters and breeding females are sent back.

Fresh bait is put in the pot and the pot is slid along the rail to the back of the boat. When all the pots in the string have been checked, the string is reset.
