Sunday evening, when the shadows were starting to get long, the iron workers were getting ready to place Blade 3 on the AMAT wind turbine.
Directing the crane operator to lower the blade.
The sun is setting and it it time to lift the blade to the mounting position.
Wrangling the blade into position.
The blade is in place, just in time because I’m running out of light and I didn’t bring a tripod!
The crepuscule sets in and the blade assembly is made ready for lifting.
Gloucester is soon going to be home to the country’s second largest wind turbine.
