This was the scene as I arrived to work Friday morning. The wind had died down and the iron workers had prepped the nacelle for the lift and got it up. By 7:50 when I arrived, they were lining it up for the final placement.

Easing it down.

The sun is hits busting through.

A little control on the ground.

The nacelle is set in place.

Later in the day, the powertrain came out of its crate.

Prepping the guy lines.

Up it goes!

It is time to move back for a better perspective.

Finally the last job for the day is to put the top onto the nacelle.

Early this morning, the leveling pad for the lattice boom crawler crane was being extended in preparation for the lifting of the blade assembly.

Here is the hub. Later today the first blade was being assembled on the port opening on the right side.
