From the French King Bridge

The Connecticut River forms the boarder between Vermont and New Hampshire.  It runs through Massachusetts down through Connecticut into Long Island Sound. In my personal experience, this is one of the best views of the river, 140 feet above the water.

You can walk out on the French King Bridge along the north side an look up into Vermont and New Hampshire.

These were taken at 4:30 in the evening as the sun was getting ready to set. You can see the shadow of the bridge on the eastern bank.

I wish we had more time, but we’ve got a long journey ahead of us.

Oh, wow, the colors are wonderful. We see a few changes here and there, but it will be another month before we notice the turning.
