What a busy week we have had at the job site. Friday was bright an sunny, we’ve been blessed with great weather. A group of school kids stop by to see the wind turbine yesterday.

Looks like a good time was had by all.

Work continued on the nacelle. Here the Kenersys engineer is setting up some instrumentation.

The lattice boom crawler crane has been rigged and is getting ready to pull up.

Preparing the 5 ton pulley block.

There is always time to talk about the striper that got away.

The boom raised.

I am amazed at the shots with the children and the blades Steve. In UK they wouldn't have been allowed within a 100 miles of it, due to this overkill health and safety nonsense. We are stifling our children's view of the World and everything around them. However there will be legislation to draw back from some of this madness as it has gone too far in recent years.
Love the photo of the kids holding up the blade! Gives them, and us, a real sense of the size of this beast!!
Hi Roy, I grew up running in the woods, sometimes until after dark. We never had bicycle helmets. Not everyone made the ball team. I walked to school with my brother and when he went to high school, I walked alone. When I smarted off in school, I got a licken' and I could expect another one when I got home.
Hi Judy, It did make for a fun photo shoot!
Tengo ganas de verlo ya colocado :-)...La foto de los niños estupenda :-)
Un abrazote
