Eine Kleine Nachtpost: Hermit Thrush

The Hermit Thrushes are moving through the area. This bird is responsible for the flute-like melodies that are heard in the woods in the summer. The Hermit Thrush prefers the deep woods, and this one was holding still very patiently as I tried to get a hand-held shot or two on the forest floor.

I shot these at ISO400, 1/60th of a second at f/6.3.
