Early this week. Notice the building to the right has been been stripped of paint, repointed and has some skylight windows added to the roof.

An interesting experiment Steve.

It is interesting, to see the changes over the years! I don't have a building to track the changes like that, but there are some trees...

Looks like the building needs a lot of repair. What is it used for these days?

The building is a National Historic Landmark. In 2009 it was donated to Ocean Alliance. They have been trying to raise $10,000,000 to do the renovations.

After that double rainbow, it looks like the Ocean Alliance got to start on the Restoration. I hope they have seen your photographs. I'm hoping there will be a sixth year shot.

It's sad to me that the left side of the building is now gone. Was it storm damage that finally did it in? How wonderful that the building is being restored - it's a beauty. I'm sure they will appreciate your historical accounting, Steve. It's fascinating to see. Thanks for sharing these!

Last September, they removed the additions as they were too unstable to manage.

Great photo series, Steve! Hopefully one day it will be restored to its former glory.

I feel fortunate to have gotten this picture in 2011 before the back building fell apart.
