Saturday Evening Creature Feature, Gold Dust Day Gecko

Here is a little photo study of Gold Dust Day Geckos. These little guys generally sleep at night and feed during the day on insects, small lizards, invertebrates and also feed on pollen, nectar and soft fruits.

This animal is native to Madagascar and were introduced to the Hawaiian islands. I shot these in Kona on the Island of Hawaii where we were vacationing over the Holidays.

They're adorable Steve. And such beautiful greens over there. I bet you had a blast. I would love to get there one day, maybe. Carol
