Annisquam Light, Gloucester, Massichusetts

It’s been a while since I’ve made it over to Annisquam. There’s been a couple of changes, namely, there is a no parking sign at the keeper’s house. Alas, the street is lined with no parking signs. But you can still walk into the beach.

These pictures were taken late in the morning, nigh onto 11:00 am. It just goes to show that it is possible to take photos in the midday sun, as winter approaches anyway.

What really caught my eye was in the second photo where the horizon is even with the high tide line on the rocks. That made for a strange play in the mind, kind of funny to imagine.

Steve, I love the first shot, with the reflection of the lighthouse and the building!
