Forgotten Photo Friday, Eastern Point Fog

Happy Friday. Today I’ve got a 2006 fog shot of Eastern Point Light. Notice that there is a beacon cutting through the fog.

This shot was taken three years later. I miss the beacon. The beacon used to give a brighter flash as it swept by. Today’s light glows and rotates, but it is not the same.

When you do have fog, you do! Wow very impressive. We never have fog over here. Have a nice week end ;-)

Great shots, looks very cold too-also like it that you got the old fog bell too in the foreground. Yeah they are always downsizing the lights and their foghorns -to save money. Nevermind the fact that seafarers rely on them even with GPS, and the brighter the better especially in dangerous waters. Great photos, at least it got a nice new paint job in the 3 years since you first took it.

Foggy shots are fab! These are no exception! And you know I LOVE lighthouses!
