Forgotten Photo Friday, Colchester Point Light

One doesn’t usually think of Vermont as a place to find a lighthouse. Lake Champlain boarders Vermont, New York and parts of Quebec. In the town of Shelburne, south of Burlington is the famous Shelburne Museum. This outdoor museum was the brainchild of Electra Webb. Electra built her collection by purchasing buildings and having them reconstructed on the grounds of the museum. Among her collection is the Shelburne Reef Lighthouse.

That is definitely a different looking lighthouse from the norm but it's still beautiful. I think all lighthouses are. Carol
