We spent a weekend with my parents in upstate New York. After a shower passed through, I had a chance to take some fern pictures. Many folks dread not having the sun shine. For a photographer, an overcast day can be a bonanza. When the sun is bright the shooting can be limited to a few hours of the day and only in a few directions. On a cloudy day, you can shoot all day long and point your camera just about anywhere you want.

Хорошие фотографии. Красивый зелёный цвет!
I've always thought there must be sun for good photos. I am slowly learning otherwise and what you wrote here reinforces that. Thanks.
Great shot...love the water droplets! Yep...overcast days are a bonus for taking photos. You dont have to worry to much about where the light falls!
That is gorgeous. Tiny spot of water like that is hard to capture. Your very talented. Thanks for sharing!
See it?
lovely! haven't tried these type of photos yet... will have to wait for the next rainfall.

These are very pretty. Love the shade of green. And I'm with you, I love shooting with the camera on overcast or cloudy days. Sometimes the sun just drains colors right out of a great shot especially when you're still trying to figure out the manual features. :-)
You forgot the part about just how pretty raindrops are, when they have settled in somewhere. Great shots!!
