The 1987 film, The Witches of Eastwick was filmed in several locations in Massachusetts. The first shot is of Castel Hill of the Crane Estate in Ipswich, Massachusetts. This was estate that the devilish Darrel Van Horn (Jack Nicholson) purchased.

Below is the Quarterdeck Shop in Scituate, Massachusetts which served as a location for Alexandra’s (Cher) studio.

I loved that movie!!!!!! Thanks for posting these location pics. That movie hadn't crossed my mind in eons but it's a gem!
I never knew that was filmed in Massachusetts. Very cool! I love when movies are shot here, it shows the rest of the country how gorgeous our state is.
Ah, Castle Hill. Site of my senior prom. The beach was a lot colder then because the ice-age glaciers hadn't quite finished melting.
As always, your photography is engaging. Going back a couple of posts - the first snow bunting is wonderful the way it is silhouetted against the blue sky.
Wondering, the Quarterdeck isn't what was used as Alex's house, was it? Was that just a shell built for the movie?
