Great shot!
The poor bird looks lonely on the cold beach. Your photo evokes the season, the challenge to the bird of traveling on his own. Pensive, perhaps wondering - or then again, maybe just getting a bead on the next meal!
this little guy is super cute- i really miss being around shorebirds!
Great shot, but I don't get the "black belly" part. ;-)
...this little fellow is so cute! I miss seeing these little shorebirds (only get to see them in numbers when i'm on vacation!).
Nice shot, but I'm also curious as to why this pretty bird is called a black bellied anything. ?
poor thing would be confused about his name (if he knows it)
but he is lovely looking, even with a white belly!
